Can I add my thanks to everyone for last night's gig. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I thought we sounded great. Apparently the audience thought so too. So many lovely comments from the audience. So thanks again everyone. Xxx

I agree with Keith. It was great and thank you to all the strummers who helped in any way. Although there didnít seem to be such a large audience as last year, personally I enjoyed it much more.

Excellent gig last night, with a very enthusiastic audience 8)

Our set with the Elderley's went down really well.

Many thanks to everyone who helped with the setup and packing up of the PA kit.

Well done.

Cheers, Keith.

Thank you Dorothy. We stayed behind to mingle with the crowd and I have to say the crowd did increase a lot later on. Shame we were the opening act. Still, it stayed dry and not too cold. Thanks all xxx

Many thanks for taking the lead today Diane. I was able to renew my acquaintanceship with Jenny Brown, the head of the school, whom I know from when she used to attend Christ Church and began learning to ring there. I had a word with one of her daughters, who was also at todayís event. It was an enjoyable session but just a pity more people hadnít arrived in time to hear us.

A big thank you to everyone who played at this gig, today. What a great stage and it was lovely to have all the p.a. set up for us. Lots of my old colleagues said how much they enjoyed the set.  Thanks again everyone. See you soon.xxx

Just been told, they raised £1156. £250 f that was our charitable donation. Thanks Strummers for supporting a worthwhile cause.

SUS personal best time for putting away mics and stands and clearing the stage for the following act.
However, in the process a music stand was left behind, Di and myself will look after it till someone claims it.... possibly DTY prime suspect.

Apologies, I got us there an hour early. At least we were on time. ;-D
Thanks everyone for attending this gig, along with setting up and packing away.

We handed over a cheque for £250 as this was one of the charities selected for a donation this year.

I'm sure Dave will be able to do this. And I will ask Gloria too.
