Black Country day, 29/07/18.
« on: 27 June 2018 11 15 »
 Hi Everyone,
We have been invited back to play at the Black Country day event at Roseville High street (actually Castle St. I think), Coseley.
The road will be closed and there will be various other activities and bands during the afternoon.

The event is open to the public from 1-5pm.

Will you make sure you are available for the whole afternoon please.

We will be playing one 30 minute set at 2:15pm. This may alter nearer the date, also we may be asked to step in if anyone else let's them down.

I have asked if they can provide a shelter of some sort, if the forecast is for bad weather. Hopefully the current suneshine will last til then.

We can take the full 18 strummers in the band.

You will also need a fold up chair to sit on, music stand etc.

We will be using a PA system as this is an outdoor gig.

Cheers, Keith.

Strummers: Dorothy, Rew, Di & Joe, Keith, Ivan, Nick, Royyy, Gloria, Lynn, Linda and John, Dave TH, Kev,

Well done everyone. A somewhat soggy event and even soggier audience.

Thanks to everyone, who volunteered their time to perform for the soaked. Thanks to everyone who helped with putting up and pulling down the gear.

Well done John for SUBing on the percussion.

Gloria's first gig too.

Thank you and well done from me too.
A small but appreciative audience enjoyed it very much.
See you soon.
